Across the stretch of a long, languid summer, power dynamics shift within the complex relationships of three young siblings.

Restos de cosas

Restos de cosas (2019) – Remains of Things
23min
Director: Salvador Sunyer
with the special collaboration of Jose Sacristan
The hands of a man try to reconstruct the history of his life with objects that he keeps in boxes. Each object refers to a moment. These remnants of things tell the story of his life, which in the end could also be ours.
Restos de Cosas is a small film that deals with memory and the passage of time. Such a broad, universal and intergenerational theme treated from a minimal, intimate and personal thing: the objects that a man has been saving during his life.

Un chico cualquiera Rosario sólo hay una (2019) – An Average Boy and a Leading Light Rosario
An Average Boy and a Leading Light Rosario21min
Director: Àlex Monner
Obsessed with a decadent actress, a young fan decides to approach her. No, it’s not a suspense film, or horror, or anything like that. What follows from here is a two-way conversation, as fun as it is ambiguous, which will lead to an unexpected ending. The debut director Àlex Monner has an overwhelming interpretation of a Loles León that seems to be straight out of an Almodovar film.

In between tracksEntre railes (2018) In Between Tracks
25min
Director: Delfina Spratt, Àlex Puig Ros
A train driver carries a load heavier than the train itself: the responsibility of stopping it when a person appears on the tracks and knowing that they will not be able to do so in time. Aboard the train, drivers will tell us about the consequences of having to put on the emergency brake.

Watermelon juiceSuc de síndria (2019) – Watermelon Juice
20min
Director: Irene Moray
Suc de Síndria is one of the most anticipated short films of the year. Love and its unique healing power. When we look at the effects of sexual abuse is mostly from the perspective of trauma, but how can love (and watermelon juice) help to overcome such an experience?
Barbara and Pol spend a few days on holiday with a group of friends in a house surrounded by nature. They want to have a good time and find a peaceful space where they can enjoy their intimacy. With the support of Pol, in the midst of nature, between tears and laughter, Barbara will heal old wounds and redefine her sexuality.
