2nd week Catalan Film Festival: short films!

Hey cinemaattics,

first week of the festival is now gone and the sensations were pretty good as the attendants showed us.

In two days though we are starting the most inventive and freshest events of the festival: the short film sessions!

Divided in two complementary blocks, the programme we have prepared for you has exclusively been curated by the Academia del Cinema Catalá and has never been seen in the UK before.
There we go: the Gaudí Award nights!

The Gaudí Awards are the most significant cinema awards in Catalunya and represent, simply, cutting edge contemporary cinema that bespeaks of the wealthiness of Catalunya’s film industry.

What is more, the events will be hosted by a present reference and afuture gem in terms of art and happenings in town: the superb Summerhall and Old Saint Paul Church….-yes, a church all converted into a cinema, converted into a bar, converted into a dance floor….
Deep Groove Valley will be providing the music until 1am on Thursday…and you can enjoy TAPAS DEAL for four at Bar Rioja anytime, everyday….
