We join FABULA and other organisations working for a world where every voice is heard, where justice prevails, and where the horrors of the past remain forever in our collective memory. May we continue to work towards a society where human rights are respected, and where the dignity of every individual is upheld. This programme is for all those brave individuals who fought for justice and democracy. ✊

We focus on the memory of those who survived, by the hand of those who were and still are victims and those who had to run and seek refuge abroad to save their lives. Many of whom came to Scotland and are still here 50 years later.

    🎞 A group of artists and creators from differen 🎞 A group of artists and creators from different disciplines attended the invitation of the ARCHIVO SHUB to learn about analogous film archives management and editing techniques processes and made individual pieces playing with the materials provided. Eleven short films were born from this lab, four of which are part of this curatorship.

    🎥 Documentaries are at the heart of our #ADRIFT 🎥 Documentaries are at the heart of our #ADRIFT 2 season and we continue with our next screening of GEOGRAPHIES OF SOLITUDE, a playful immersion into the rich ecosystem of Sable Island, guided by naturalist and environmentalist Zoe Lucas who has lived over 40 years on this remote sliver of land in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. 🌊

Director Patricia Wiesse is able to tell this story of abuse in a non-exploitative way that restores the women’s dignity and supports their ongoing legal case.
