📣 EDINBURGH - This new programme of six short films remembers the 50th anniversary of Pinochet’s military coup which started a 16 year reign of horror.

We join FABULA and other organisations working for a world where every voice is heard, where justice prevails, and where the horrors of the past remain forever in our collective memory. May we continue to work towards a society where human rights are respected, and where the dignity of every individual is upheld. This programme is for all those brave individuals who fought for justice and democracy. ✊

📣 CinemaAttic is back this September for a new programme focusing on Chilean films. We do so to remember the 50th anniversary of Pinochet’s military coup which started a 16 year reign of horror.

We focus on the memory of those who survived, by the hand of those who were and still are victims and those who had to run and seek refuge abroad to save their lives. Many of whom came to Scotland and are still here 50 years later.

Eleven short films were born from this lab, four of which are part of this curatorship.
