Europa Transit, Ten looks on ten conflicts in search of empathy and mutual understanding. Ten stories in defense of culture to aid the transition to coexistence.

The Europa Transit itinerant embassy traveled to ten European cities that have been or are witnessing wars or conflicts. On behalf of the Lighthouse of Peace and with the mission of spreading the values ​​of empathy and mutual understanding, Europa Transit visited Ceuta, Belfast, Dresden, Wroclaw, Sarajevo, Moscow, Pafos, Plovdiv, Pristina and Thessaloniki. The embassy undertook its route in January 2016, by bus. In each enclave, the Europa Transit team, led by the filmmaker Xuban Intxausti, shot a documentary combining a journalistic account of the conflict with a cultural approach.

Since 1974, Cyprus has been divided into two communities by the only wall still standing in Europe. The Basque verse improviser Amets Arzallus travels to Cyprus to uncover the consequences of this conflict. He talks to many local musicians and poets about the current situation in Cyprus and relates this conflict to the one that divides the Basque Country and that has marked his own life

Amets Arzallus Is a multi award winning bertsolari, a singer of bertso, a musical verse in Basque tradition. He devotes himself mostly to bertsolaritza, although from time to time he carries out journalistic works.
As he is son of the bertsolari Jexux Arzallus, he was born in an environment plenty of bertsos and as a result, he began to sing when he was still very young.
Currently he combine bertzolarism with his work as a journalist and he is a contributor to the magazine Argia and to Basque radio, a writer of verses and teacher of bertsolarism among other activities.
