The heroic life of an everyday woman interpreted by Greta Fernandez -Best Actress in San Sebastian Film Festival 2019-. An emotionally powerful drama from first-time feature director Belen Funes that charts the trials and tribulations of a young single mother with a singular sense of purpose.

Synopsis: Sara (Greta Fernandez) has been alone all her life. She’s 22, has a baby, and wants to form a normal family with her younger brother and the father of her child. Her own father, Manuel (interpreted by her real-life father Eduard Fernandez), decides to come back into their lives after years of absence and his release from prison. Sara knows he’s the main obstacle to her plans and she makes a difficult decision: to distance him from herself and her brother.

“Director Belén Funes ensnares the audience with her raw approach to the daily life of a young mother, forced to grapple with loneliness, her troublesome father and a lack of affection.” (Cineuropa)
