The Catalan Film Festival returns to Scotland with a line up of award-winning films, bringing the light, textures and atmosphere of the Mediterranean to illuminate the Scottish winter.

For more than a decade, the festival has stood as the leading platform for Catalan cinema in the UK. Now in its 11th edition, running from 14 March to 4 April, it celebrates the growing appreciation for stories in the Catalan language, the vitality of emerging filmmakers, their lyrical approach, and the distinct voice of Catalan cinema today.

We’re delighted to return to our favourite cinemas in Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow, and we look forward to welcoming you to the screenings.

The festival is presented by CinemaAttic, which has been championing Iberian and Latin American cinema in Scotland since 2008.
