Spanish & Latin-American short-film show: FICTIONAL WORLD

Hey CinemaAttics,

all in a sudden a month has swung by and we are back with the freshest cinema from industries like Iberian, Latin-American and Spanish, pioneer initiatives seeking to fulfil a missing legacy with regards to the mentioned cinemas in cities like Edinburgh.

To keep it flowing, we continue our partnership with Marvin&Wayne Short Film Distribution, platform which, as some of you have seen and experienced, contains one of the best database of short films of the actual alternative film industries.

Short films are for instance our medium, the medium of our generation, the source that best triggers the release of adrenaline into the blood-stream of our uncertain times. We have decided to go for FICTION this time, by curating a carefully selected playlist of films that could jeopardize the vision about your actual world.

Are you ready to confront yourselves with such realm…?¿

For making things as comfortable as possible we are back to our regular hosting venue Summerhall with the same crew of friendly colleagues there and the unique taste of Estrella Damm beer available at the bar.

Entry, as usual, for a fiver.

UPDATE!! after the screening, and in collaboration with Spanish Armada, we will be hosting the launch party for the forthcoming concert of Love of Lesbian on the 18 October at THE LIQUID ROOMS (Official), organised by Rock Sin Subtítulos and Spanish Armada, an Indie Party with the best of Spanish and Latin-American indie music at Summerhall.

You can contribute to the playlist that has been created in Spotify for the occasion, by typing the following in the Spotify search bar: spotify:user:spanisharmadauk:playlist:3GX6fd3fwUPwRiAxv4vD0v
